Rimfire At Equine Affaire

Have you ever been to Equine Affaire? It’s a huge expo dedicated to everything related to horses. There are two Equine Affaire expos held each year. There is one in Ohio every April, and then in November, the expo moves to West Springfield, Massachusetts.

This year, for the first time, I had my own booth. I’ve always signed out of my friend’s booth, Taborton Equine Books. But she couldn't come this year so rather than miss the expo, I got my own booth. At the same time, Rimfire was chosen to be one of the representatives for the Morgan breed booth as well as participate in the Morgan breed demonstration.

Rimfire loved all the attention! He hung out in the stall next to the American Morgan Horse Association’s booth and greeted visitors with his classic “pet me, I’m special” attitude. In the demonstration, he was ridden by a ten-year-old who showed spectators how wonderful a Morgan is with a young child. Rimfire was the perfect gentleman and with a growing fan club, he’s not showing any signs of slowing down.
